Djokovic too strong for Murray in Doha

The battle for the top spot in Men’s tennis just heated up again with the former World No. 1 and current No. 2 player, Novak Djokovic, getting some revenge over current World No. 1, Andy Murray, after defending his title by winning the Qatar ExxonMobil Open in Doha 6-3 5-7 6-4 yesterday.

In an action packed match that lasted 2 hours and 54 minutes, Djokovic received two warnings including a loss of a point and lost three match points in the second set before capitalising on a match point in the third set.

It was the perfect start for Djokovic, who would like to make good for the latter part of 2016, which saw his form take a dive and with it, the loss of his World No. 1 ranking to Murray.
