Change your beliefs about your money

As you know, your beliefs about money affects how much of it you have.

Here is a belief that will help you attract money:

Money flows to me like a river. I have more than enough. I give away money because I have so much.
I can afford anything I want to buy. I manage my money wisely and it just keeps growing in all my accounts.
My capital base grows every day. I have abundant finances and lack nothing.
I am debt free and enjoy complete financial freedom.

Let these beliefs grow in you..

Be all you can be.

Today’s motivational quote

When you get to the point of apologising in the conflict resolution process, here’s a good way to start in a non-confrontational way:

“I’m really glad that we have been able to talk about this and be honest with each other. I feel we should apologise to each other for any offence just to clear the air completely. Let me start by saying how sorry I am for what my words/actions did to you.”

If the person does not want to apologise, lay a foundation for resolving this and start a cycle of revelation and understanding on this point alone.

For Example.

Here is the first sentence (the Foundation):
“Our relationship/friendship is really important to me and I would not like to hold anything against you. What is holding you back from apologising to me?”

Talk about it and understand the other person. Share your thoughts. Then find a solution.

Once you have apologised, you are released from any other responsibility. There is no more you can do.
It is essential that you now show by your words and actions that your apology was sincere.
If the other person also apologised you move to the next step which is forgiving.
We will look at that next time.

Be all you can be

Today’s motivational quote

“There are obviously two educations. One should teach us how to make a living and the other how to live.” – James Truslow Adams

Both of these educations are so important. The first, for obvious reasons – that we may be able to support ourselves and a family.

The second, because most people grow up without good role models and without learning the important success principles that make for a great life.

We grow up never discovering what the keys are to successful living. And if you did not learn them as a child, at home, it is even harder to apply them as an adult.

Therefore, be a serious student of how to live successfully. Buy and read personal development books. Do courses and programmes to help you develop areas that you may be weak in such as:  goal-setting, time management, assertiveness, conflict management, leadership, etc.

Be a diligent student of living successfully.

What area of life do you need more education on?

Plan how you can get the education you need to be more successful at life.

Be all you can be!

“When it is obvious that the goals cannot be reached, don’t adjust the goals, adjust the action steps.” – Confucius

Achieving your goals may take longer than you think. That’s OK. Don’t give up on them ever. Make new plans based on what you have learnt from your challenges and   your experience. Perhaps you may need to change your strategy completely. But

1.  Never quit on your goals

2.  Be all you can be

Today’s Motivational quote

“To be an effective leader, you may listen to all, but in the end be responsible for your own decisions” – Dr Myles MunroeMany leaders think that they have to do all the thinking by themselves and then come up with a wise decision or solution to every problem.  This is not necessary. Get everyone’s input and then evaluate each idea on its merits.
Offer a reward as incentive to get people to put their ‘thinking caps’ on and contribute their ideas.  Ask people to explain their ideas in more detail if something is not clear. That way a better solution may emerge.

You have a lot of smart people working for you and if you are trying to solve a problem that your staff deal with regularly, they probably have solutions already, just waiting to be asked.

Take advantage of the people that work for you, then make the decision yourself and take full responsibility if things go wrong, but give credit to those who contributed if the solution is a success.

This way you will gain the admiration, loyalty and respect of your staff.

Affirmations:
I benefit from the ideas of others
I make good decisions
I take responsibility for my decisions

Today’s motivational quote

“Those who hate are afraid to let go of it because then they will have to face pain.” – Anonymous

If you harbor anger or hatred or find that you lose your temper quickly, it is usually because there is unresolved pain from your past.

You will need professional help to work through this. Don’t be afraid to get help. Don’t be in denial. You are only hurting yourself and others more.

If your anger or resentment has caused damage in any of your relationships, then I encourage you to seek the help you need.

Don’t let the pain of the past cause you any more pain.

Affirmations:
I face my past with courage
I am responsible for my emotional health
I get the help I need

Be all you can be!
